This 60-hour non-credit course is designed to address existing educational gaps between students' Adult Basic Education ESL education and college-level ESL courses.
The course focuses on reading, writing, and speaking, with pronunciation exercises, listening, and grammar. Courses are offered on a rotating basis during the day and evening. Locations also vary from the Brockton and Canton campuses to off-campus locations.
To register for the class, students must first take the ESL assessment to determine which level of ESL best suits their needs. Assessments are offered through the ESL Coordinator's Office.
Call (508) 599-9100, Extension 1811 or 1785.
The class costs about $127. Texts cost approximately $50-70. When the college receives a grant, classes are offered free. |
