Massasoit offers a 48-hour review class that prepares students to take the GED Test. The course emphasizes grammar, reading, writing, and mathematics, but covers all five parts of the GED Test. Most classes have two instructors. Classes are kept small at 26. Students are required to take a pre-assessment before registering for the course. The pre-assessment determines "ability to benefit" from the course.

The GED Review Class is offered two to three times per semester, and costs $147. The GED textbook is an additional $20. For more information on GED Review see a full course description and pre-assessment dates on this website under non-credit Community Education courses.
For students who miss the pre-assessment cut-off score by 1-4 points, a new Basic Skills for GED course is being offered for $107.
