Health Services
Our Mission
The mission of Health Services is to provide primary and preventive health care, health education and counseling to meet the needs of a diverse student population. Students are encouraged to accept responsibility for making informed decisions that lead to healthier academic and personal life. The staff is committed to remaining aware of current health trends and information to assist in this process.

Student Services is committed to the college’s mission of creating a supportive and safe environment for all our students.
The purpose of Health Services is to insure every student has the opportunity of enjoying, in health, the benefits of academic life. The College Health Service is available, free, to all students on a drop-in or appointment basis. These services include primary health care, health education, preventive care and referral. Special programming is planned to meet current health concerns.

Public Health/College Immunization Requirements:

All full-time students and all students on a VISA must provide proof of immunization for:

  • Tetanus-Diphtheria ( Td ) - last dose within 10 years.
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella - Series of 2 Measles, given at least one month apart after 1st birthday.
  • hepatitis B - Series of 3
Note: Serological proof may be provided for MMR and hep B.
High School and military immunization information may be submitted.
A medical exemption must be signed by a doctor. There is no age exemption.

Medical Insurance:

All students taking 9 credit hours or more are required to have medical insurance coverage. Medical insurance is available for purchase through the College at the beginning of each semester for those students who do not have other insurance coverage.

General Information

Dr. Alicia Krol is the new college physician. She will be in Health Services from 12:00 - 2:00 on Tuesdays. Please note time change.
The College Physician is available, free, to all students at the Health Services Office.

On the Brockton campus, the Director of Health Services is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Health Services is located in the Student Center, (508) 588-9100. ext. 1450.

Health Services are also provided at the Canton Campus from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday during the academic year. The office is located in Room 138 across from the cafeteria, (781) 821-2222, ext. 2451.
