The mission of Health Services is to provide primary and preventive health care, health education and counseling to meet the needs of a diverse student population. Students are encouraged to accept responsibility for making informed decisions that lead to healthier academic and personal life. The staff is committed to remaining aware of current health trends and information to assist in this process.
Services include primary health care, health education, preventive care and referral. Special programming is planned to meet current health concerns.

All full-time students and all students on a VISA must provide proof of immunization for:
Note: Serological proof may be provided for MMR, Hep B., and Varicella.
- Tetanus-Diphtheria ( Td ) - last dose within 10 years.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella - Series of 2 Measles, given at least one month
apart after 1st birthday.
- Hepatitis B - Series of 3
- Varicella, 2 doses, one month apart after 1st birthday.
High School and military immunization information may be submitted.
A medical exemption must be signed by a doctor. There is no age exemption.
All students taking 9 credit hours or more are required to have medical insurance coverage. Medical insurance is available for purchase through
the College at the beginning of each semester for those students who do not have other insurance coverage.

On the Brockton campus, the College nurses are available Monday-Thursday from 8:30-4:30, and 8:30– 2:30 on Friday. Health Services is located in the lower level Student Center, (508) 588-9100. ext. 1450.
Health Services are also provided at the Canton Campus from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.,
Monday - Friday during the academic year.
