Academic Resource Center Staff

Mary Berg is the Disability Counselor for students with physical disabilities, working on the Brockton and Canton campus. Mary works collaboratively with faculty and staff to facilitate support services for currently enrolled students with disabilities. Andrea Henry is the primary contact for students with learning disabilities. She is happy to be a resource for you in discussing tutoring ideas and strategies for working with Massasoit’s diverse student population. Amanda Huggon-Mauretti is the Special Programs Coordinator at Massasoit Community College. Amanda coordinates three grant-funded programs, MEOP, Summer Bridge and EXCEL , working very closely with Brockton High School and the Brockton community. Tina Medeiros is the Administrative Assistant in the ARC, the primary contact for the clerical support staff. Nicole Ramirez is the Coordinator of the Writing and World Language Center. She coordinates and supervises the English and ESL tutors who provide academic support for students seeking help with their writing or language skills. She is also the Early Support System Liaison for English and ESL classes and an academic advisor for students. Her office is in the Writing Center in room SC 110 A. She can be reached at

Kerryn Snyder is the Coordinator of Math Services for the ARC. She hires and supervises math tutors and supports them in providing academic support and guidance for students struggling with math. She can assist tutors or students with questions regarding placement in math classes, appropriate course loads, study skills as they pertain to math, decisions about course withdrawals, and math course selection for future semesters. Nancy Sullivan is the Director of Academic Support Services at Massasoit Community College. Nancy facilitates and coordinates day-to-day administration of the support service areas on campus including the Brockton ARC and Writing and World Language Centers, Disability Services, and the grant funded programs, MEOP, Summer Bridge and EXCEL.
