Tartaglia Dedication

Massasoit’s Dean of Nursing and Allied Health, Anne McNeil brought people to tears as she told the story of her father’s words, “Why else were we put on this earth, if not to take care of each other?” She continued to explain the positive impact the Tartaglia/ Franciosi donation to Massasoit’s Allied Health Division will have on students and all the people who will receive care from them as a result of the excellent education they receive at Massasoit. She thanked Charlie and Penny Tartaglia for their continued legacy of taking care of others. Charlie Tartaglia closed the event recognizing the many family members present, and speaking of his continued support of Massasoit Community College into the future. A reception followed, along with a tour of the nursing lab, by Professor Martha DeSilva showcasing its new SIM Man and SIM baby.
