This self-study has been created to support the needs of faculty who have previously taught online and wish to enhance an existing or new online course.This self-study is organized into eight modules. Each module corresponds with criteria found on the Quality Matters Rubric. Quality Matters is a self-supporting organization sponsored by Maryland Online, Inc. Quality Matters is a peer-based approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement in online education. The rubric they provide promotes self-assessment and peer-review of online courses.
The goal of this self-study is to provide targeted support for further development on areas of your blended / online course you wish to enhance based upon the results of the Quality Matters rubric.
