If you have never taken an online course, you are strongly encouraged to participate in an orientation to online learning. We offer both online and face-to-face orientation sessions.
Note: The information below is for courses using Blackboard CE8. The College is in the process of migrating to a new learning management system, Canvas. Many courses will be using Canvas this semester. Please check the Canvas Resource Site to see if your course will be using Canvas before you plan to participate in a Blackboard CE8 Orientation.
Note: If you are taking an Online Mathematics Course, MyMathLab will be used as the primary online tool throughout your math course. You will be oriented to MyMathLab by your instructor at the beginning of your course. Prior to the start of the semester, your instructor will email you a syllabus with directions for accessing MyMathLab and other important course information. If you would still like to learn about Blackboard CE8, where you will get your course syllabus and directions for accessing MyMathLab, consider looking at the Online Student Orientation.

Blackboard CE8 Orientation Course
This Blackboard CE8 course includes descriptions, tutorials (text and video), and samples to orient users to the Blackboard CE8 environment, tools and features. The course is organized in modules so you can easily jump into any module to learn more about specific features and tools.
