Services for Users with Disabilities

The Massasoit Community College Libraries are committed to providing accessibility to library materials, programs, and services to all users.

All staff will make every effort to accommodate reasonable requests from users with disabilities. If your disability is invisible, please identify
yourself as having a disability when you seek assistance.

Services include:

Building Accessibility
  • Designated parking for users with mobility impairment at the parking lot behind Student Center (Brockton) and Academic Building (Canton)
  • Entry for users with impaired mobility
  • Elevator access to all levels
  • Public telephone adjacent to Libraries for users with impaired mobility and/or hearing impairment
  • Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available adjacent to the Libraries
Research Assistance
  • General library orientation
  • Reference assistance
  • Materials retrieving at Circulation Desk
  • Assistance with photocopying
Assistive/Adaptive Technologies
  • Adaptive Technology on some of the computers
  • Adjustable tables in a variety of locations to accommodate wheelchairs
  • Circulation desk/Information area designed to accommodate wheelchairs
