Women's soccer was established as a varsity sport in 1986. The program quickly achieved prominence in 1989 by qualifying to play in the National Junior College Athletic Association National Tournament.
Always a team that plays skilled soccer, the Lady Warriors have been awarded the NJCAA Sportsmanship Award in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003. This is a testimony to the hard work of the coaches and players who represent Massasoit.
Head Coach, Mike Phipps just completed his fourth year as the coach of the Lady Warriors and was awarded Coach of the Year for Region 21 for the fall 2008 season. The Lady Warriors captured the Massachusetts Community College Athletiuc Conference title after defeating Holyoke Community College for the state championship.
