Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Restrictions apply for use of the gym, pool, and other facilities. Check with the Athletic Office for further information.

Facilities

Gymnasium – Housed within the Peter Asiaf Field House is a beautiful gymnasium where our intercollegiate basketball teams play their home games. Aside from games and practices, this facility is open for students and their guests to use. There are 3 basketball courts running cross court as well as a full length court running through the middle of the gymnasium. The gymnasium is built for participating in volleyball as well as intramural activities.

Note: Black soled, waffled soled, turf shoes, and boots are not allowed in the gymnasium.

Pool
Massasoit has a beautiful Olympic size pool available for our students, staff, and their guests. The hours of the pool are limited, but you can check with the Athletic Office for availability. Bathing suits, t-shirts, nylon gym shorts are the only acceptable attire in the pool. NO CUT-OFFS! Your valid student ID is your ticket to use the pool.

Weight/Cardio Room
Located on the lower level of the Field House, this facility boasts of new and gently used weight equipment and cardiovascular machines. Students who wish to use the room can do so by signing out a key in the Athletic Office. You must leave your validated student ID as well as your license to check out a key.

Racquetball Room
The Racquetball room is located next to the weight room and is available for use by students, staff, and their guests. People can sign up in advance for a specific time or drop by to use if the room is vacant. If there are people waiting, please limit play to 1 hour.

Multipurpose Room
This is an excellent facility to practice yoga, martial arts, exercise, or stretch. Also located within the multipurpose room is a ping pong table (you can borrow the paddles and ball from Athletics) that is available for casual use as well as tournaments.

Locker Rooms
Locker rooms are available for use for those using the facilities. Full length lockers are available for use while you are working out however; equipment and clothing are not to be stored in full length lockers overnight. You may use the small box lockers for overnight use. It is requested that all lockers be emptied out at the end of the semester so that the lockers can be cleaned. The College reserves the right to inspect/open any locker that they feel is in violation of College policy.
