Tom Frizzell has just completed his 18th year as head coach of the Massasoit Community College baseball team. He was a Warrior assistant coach for three years before taking over the program in 1991. In that period of time the Warriors have compiled a 542-211-7 won loss record. The Warriors captured Regional crowns in 1993, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007. They advanced to the Division II World Series in 1993 and 1995, with the 1993 team capturing the Division II National Championship. In Division III the Warriors have competed at the National level in 2004, 2005 and 2007.

Coach Frizzell looks forward to another competitive year for the Warriors. With a core group of starters returning and a strong recruiting class featuring several quality pitchers as well as some other outstanding prospects, should make for an exciting  2009 season.
