Medical Assisting
The Medical Assisting program at Massasoit Community College is a certificate program that is designed
to take 9 months to complete.

The program prepares students to be Medical Assistants (SOC Code:  31-9092.00).

Total tuition and required fees for entire program:  $ 6422

Total estimated costs for books and supplies for entire program:  $ 1878
(Includes est. $800 for books; $928 for health insurance which may be waived if carrying own.)

Massasoit does not offer any housing.

Debt at Program Completion

In 2011, 19 completed the program. Of these, 4 (21%) had some type of student loan debt.

The median cumulative debt for all completers in 2011 was as follows:

Federal student loan debt:  $3,583

Private student loan debt:  0

Massasoit does not have an institutional financing plan. Our tuition plan allows students to budget their payments
over the course of the semester so that debt is not carried forward.

Success

Of the 19 students completing the program in 2011, 19 (100%) completed within the normal time of 9 months.
