- Most of the eleven subcommittees met and began gathering evidence and identifying areas of strengths and weaknesses. The meetings were visited by Tracey Schaub or Peg Stevenson.

- Deans Peter Johnston and Karyn Boutin and Professors Peg Stevenson and Tracey Schaub attended a NEASC sponsored conference “Assessment New England Style” held at Bentley College on November 5 th.
- Peg Stevenson and Tracey Schaub compiled and distributed to accreditation chairs an accreditation reference guide containing a self-study manual, Massasoit’s mission statement, Massasoit’s strategic plan, NEASC’s concerns from previous visits, a summary of significant changes to the draft of new standards, formatting tips for writing the self-study, a tentative timeline, sample documents and exhibits for self-study, and Web site references
- Philip Urbano ran training sessions for accreditation chairs and liaisons covering Windows XP/Office ’03 upgrade features, special formatting features in Word ’03, e-mail attachments, document sharing, and public folders as a communication tool.
