- Throughout May and June the Co-Chairs and other College members reviewed the Self-Study draft for consistency and accuracy.
- In June the Co-Chairs sent a draft of the Self-Study to Barbara Brittingham, Director of the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of NEASC, seeking feedback. Some minor changes were made to the report based on her comments.
- The Steering Committee met June 6 th to discuss the NEASC preliminary visit, the NEASC accreditation visit in October, and the remaining timeline. At this meeting, Lois Martin and Kathy Soderbom were approved as accuracy readers.
- Dr. Wilfred Nieves, Chair of the visiting team, came to Massasoit Community College for the NEASC preliminary visit on June 16 th . Present were the President, many Vice Presidents, Chairs and Liaisons of the subcommittees, Steering Committee members, as well as the Co-Chairs of accreditation. At the visit, Dr. Nieves had the opportunity to tour both campuses as well as discuss the upcoming October visit.
- On June 19 th there was a meeting to discuss the layout of the Self-Study. James Lynch, Peter Rodman, Bill Hanna, Tracey Schaub, Peg Stevenson, and Dick Cronin agreed upon the details of the design and a timeline for the project.
- The Co-Chairs met with the President to discuss the Self-Study and review the projections.
- On June 30 th the Self-Study report was sent to the layout editor, Peter Rodman and was returned on July 17 th.
- Tracey Schaub, Bill Hanna, Mary Lynch, Marc Simmons and Peg Stevenson reviewed the document and made changes to the layout and sent the document to Standard Modern Printing on July 24 th and the blueline proof was returned on July 31 st . After proofreading the document, it was returned for printing.
