- Most of the eleven subcommittees continue meeting and gathering evidence. The meetings were visited by Tracey Schaub or Peg Stevenson.
- Philip Urbano continues to offer training sessions for accreditation chairs and liaisons covering Windows XP/Office ’03 upgrade features, special formatting features in Word ’03, e-mail attachments, document sharing, and public folders as a communication tool.
- President Wall, Vice Presidents Kowalski, Finkelstein, O’Leary, Chief of Staff Shepherd, Professors Stevenson and Schaub attended the NEASC Annual Meeting in Boston December 2-3. NEASC representatives discussed the Accreditation Standards that should be finalized by the end of January.
- Professors Schaub and Stevenson attended the December 8 th Board of Trustees meeting to give the board an explanation of the accreditation process and to inform the Board of progress to date.
- Mary Lynch, Director of Institutional Research, was named Chair of Data Collection. She will be responsible for coordinating and developing instruments for data collection as well as analyzing existing data related to accreditation.
- Professors Schaub and Stevenson met with the Student Senate to explain the accreditation process and to seek volunteers to serve on subcommittees in Spring 2005.
- Vice President Finkelstein, Professors Schaub and Stevenson hosted an end-of-the-year meeting attended by President Wall, accreditation chairs and liaisons and support staff. Professor Schaub gave NEASC’s Power Point presentation of the accreditation process. Professor Stevenson distributed matrices that can be used as a graphic organizer to clarify and delineate each substandard.
