Lab Monitors can assist students with tasks such as: logging in to the campus server and the My
Massasoit Portal; understanding Lab policies and procedures; obtaining paper and toner for ARC
Printers; printing using Pharos software; acquiring resource information and referral.

| If you have an appointment, you are given 30 minutes of uninterrupted tutoring time with one tutor. To make an appointment, you should go to the front desk at the entrance to the ARC or call 508-588-9100 x1801. Please note that each student is allowed three (3) appointments per week, per subject. After that, you may come in as a “walk-in.” You cannot make two or three appointments back to back. |
If you do not have an appointment, you are considered a “walk-in.” For walk-ins, you are given 15 minutes of tutoring time with one of the tutors, and then you are asked to work on your own. The tutor may then work with another student. If no other students are waiting, your tutor may work with you for up to 30 minutes. If you leave and come back later in the day, you may work with a tutor again, but only for up to 30 minutes. Remember, our goal in the ARC is to help make students independent learners! |
