Meet The Faculty
The program's faculty members consist of three didactic teachers who teach the radiography courses at the college and thirteen clinical instructors who are responsible for the student's clinical education. The faculty and clinical instructors are experienced and professional radiologic technologists who are dedicated to the success of the student and the program, and to the profession of radiology.
Nancy Sutcliffe, M.Ed., R.T. (R )(QM) - Professor and Program Director
Nancy has 40 years of radiography experience and has been employed in these areas of radiography: general radiology, neuroradiology, special procedures, mammography, quality assurance, management and was a clinical instructor for the Northeastern University radiology program as well as the Massasoit radiology program. She was the first clinical coordinator for the Massasoit radiology program and was the program's director until 2003.

Nancy is member of the state society and national society for radiologic technologists. She has been a frequent guest lecturer for the Cape Cod district of the Massachusetts Society of Radiologic Technologists. She is a member of the Northeast Association of Allied Health Educators, a regional group of allied health educators.

Nancy is dedicated to the profession of radiology and supports continuing education. She has established two advance imaging certification programs at Massasoit, the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certificate and the Computerized Tomography Certificate program. click here for the MRI program click here for the CT program Nancy holds a Master’s degree in Education from Bridgewater State College and teaches all the positioning lecture courses, including advanced imaging procedures, the pathology course, advanced imaging equipment and modalities, and quality assurance in radiology.
Mary Steidinger, R.T. (R )(M) - Lab Instructor
Mary is the newest member of the program's college faculty. She joined us in 1998 and has been an excellent addition to the program both for the students and for Nancy and Marianne. Mary is a seasoned radiographer with over 30 years of experience in the profession. She works for the college on a part time basis while working as a mammographer for a local health care facility. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Radiologic Technologists and the Northeast Association of Allied Health Educators. Mary teaches all the radiographic positioning labs and has been a sounding board for students.

The three college faculty members work together as a team to provide all students with a quality education in radiology so that upon graduation they will have entry-level clinical skills and academic knowledge to gain certification and obtain a position as a radiologic technologist.
