My MCC Help Sessions are available during the two weeks of classes. The following sessions are optional . Most students find it helpful to attend one optional help session, although you are welcome to attend more than one session.

General Orientation Sessions are available during the two weeks of classes. Orientation Sessions will provide you with general information about your e-Learning course and offer strategies for ensuring your success in your e-Learning class as well as provide assistance with getting started with your e-Learning course.
If you have never taken an online course, you are strongly encouraged to attend one of the following orientation sessions. The sessions are conducted on a drop-in basis for first time online students. You do not need to attend the entire Orientation Session. If you cannot attend one of the Orientation Sessions below and would like to schedule a face to face or telephone orientation for your e-Learning course, please call 508.588.9100, ext 1541 to schedule an Orientation Session.
Prior to the first week of classes, a dditional specific information regarding your online course (access, userid, and password) will be sent to you at your home address.

The most important function you can perform before participating in your My MCC course is a Browser Tune-Up . This will solve most problems you may encounter. Update your browser settings by following the directions located on the My MCC Browser Tune-Up page at http://www.webct.com/tuneup or by clicking on the " Check Browser " link on your myMy MCC page.
If you fail to perform a browser tune-up, you may run into difficulty accessing your course materials. Please refer to the Student Getting Started Guide for further information.

Password Problems
Your 6 digit Banner PIN is your My MCC password. If you change your Banner PIN, it will affect your My MCC password.
Contact the Information Technology Help Desk at 508-588-9100 ext.1139 for:
- Assistance with My MCC Log On
- Browser Assistance
The Helpdesk is located in the Technology Building, Room T544.
The Helpdesk is staffed the following hours:
- Monday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
During the following hours, an evening and Saturday technician regularly
monitors the Help Desk voice mail.
- Tuesday through Friday - 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm
- Saturday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
On any off hours or if there is no one at the desk, please leave a message at ext. 1139 or e-mail helpdesk@massasoit.mass.edu. Please note that hours are subject to change during semester breaks.
