Course Information
This is a 2-course Certificate Program that prepares the student to master basic grooming skills on a variety of cats and dogs, then expands to handling and controlling difficult dogs, advanced sheering and clipper techniques. These courses cover; safety, equipment, handling techniques, bathing techniques, first aid, and breed specific grooming. |

Pet Groomer 1 is offered fall each year. |
Pet Groomer 2 is offered spring each year. |
This program is offered on the Brockton Campus with some on-site training at a local Grooming Facility. |

Students must complete both Pet Groomer 1 and Pet Groomer 2 to be awarded certificate.
