Office Technologies Certificate

The Office Technologies Certificate program builds upon the skills acquired in attaining the office skills certificate (See In-House Certificates.) The program is designed to blend practical skills with theoretical knowledges that are necessary for persons seeking careers in the modern electronic office. Students will gain hands-on experience on a variety of microcomputer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet. Related business and professional skills necessary for success in today's offices are also developed. Students completing the Office Technologies Certificate program may continue their study to acquire an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Administrative Information Systems.

*If one tests out of English Composition I, then any Speech, Literature, Journalism, or Foreign Language course may be substituted.

***Students with prior experience in Windows may, through consultation with the department chair, be placed in Intermediate Windows (CTIM104).
# Office Skills Certificate is awarded upon completion of first-semester courses.

This program awards a Board-Approved Certificate upon completion of 14 courses and a minimum of 33 credits.
