Law Enforcement Certificate
Course Information

Developed in cooperation with the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association, the Law Enforcement Certificate Program prepares students for a career in local law enforcement. The certificate combines specialized criminal justice and general education coursework to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to compete for entry into the Massachusetts law enforcement field. All of the credits earned in the certificate program can be applied to a Quinn Bill eligible Associate in Science degree in Criminal Justice.

Additional coursework may be required based on college placement testing and prerequisites. Students should meet with a Criminal Justice advisor for proper course sequencing. No academic credit is awarded for life experience, for military police academy, or other training.

This program awards an In-House Certificate upon completion of 9 courses and 27 credits.
