All applicants to the RN Nursing Program at Massasoit Community College are required to take a pre-entrance examination in order to be considered for selection into our program.
Scheduling & Scoring
In order to be scheduled to take the Nursing Entrance Test, (NET), all applicants must call Educational Resources Incorporated
at 1-800-292-2273 and ask for the REGISTRAR'S OFFICE. Their hours of operation are between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and between 8:00am and 4:30pm on Fridays, Central Standard Time.
The deadline for registering for the NET Exam is 14 days prior to taking the test.
All tests will be scored by Educational Resources and the results will be sent to our admissions Office. A score of 60% is the minimal passing score, but the Admissions Office along with the Nursing Department may require a higher score in order to qualify for acceptance into our program. Preference will be given to scores of 70% or higher.
