Office of Testing & Assessment Nursing Exams Testing Home All applicants to the RN Nursing Program at Massasoit Community College are required to take a pre-entrance examination in order to be considered for selection into our program. Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) www.atitesting.com PRE-ENTRANCE NURSING TEST OR TEST OF ESSENTIAL ACADEMIC SKILLS (TEAS) TEST INFORMATION AT MASSASOIT COMMUNITY COLLEGE. THIS TEST IS COMPUTERIZED AND THERE IS A $30.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE FEE) PAYABLE TO ASSESSMENT TECHNOLOGIES INSTITUTE. SEE BELOW FOR RESERVATION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION. YOU MUST BRING WITH YOU A PHOTO ID AT THE TIME OF TESTING PER FEDERAL REGULATIONS. NO CANDIDATES WILL BE ALLOWED TO TEST WITHOUT A PHOTO ID. THIS MEANS YOU WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE AND PAY THE TESTING FEE AGAIN. - Massasoit Community College will only be using the reading portion of the TEAS test. - There will be 40 questions and a student will have 50 minutes to complete that portion of the computerized test. - In order to reserve a date for testing a student must go online at www.atitesting.com and follow the prompts for Massachusetts, Brockton, Massasoit Community College. You must have a credit card, debit card or check card. Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) is responsible for all scheduling. If you need to reschedule you must contact them at least 48 hours before the scheduled exam. Failure to do so will cause you to have to reschedule and pay another $30.00 test fee. - You will receive an e-Mail confirmation of your reservation from ATI. Print this out and keep it HANDY, as the Admissions Office will require confirmation if your test date is after February 1, 2010 which is the application deadline. - If you need assistance in the registration process you may contact ATI at 1-800-667-7531. If you have any other questions you may contact my office at 508-588-9100 ext. 1991 or 1992. - You may only test one time per application year. - As these tests are timed, all of the testing sessions will start at the exact designated time. If you are more than 15 minutes late you will be required to reschedule and repay your testing fee. Please arrive early.
