Who Enrolls in Latch?
A remarkable variety of students enroll in Latch for academic support. Chiefly, though
not exclusively, the Latch Program seeks to help the following candidates:
• Self referred students [often adults away from school for several years]
• Referrals from within the college [Admissions, Counseling, and so on]
• Students who have not maintained good academic standing
• Students needing emotional support to succeed in college
• Students referred by high school guidance counselors
• Special needs students with academic potential
• Students needing to develop academic skills
• Community agency referrals
Please Note: Although students may sign up for Latch by checking off the program on their application for admission to the college, we prefer that a prospective student make an appointment to visit us so that we can mutually decide if Latch will be helpful to that individual.
